- CELEBRATE PJK SUCCESSES!
- November 15 Jamal Nassar talk at ISU. Discussion today about how PJK members did not know until Jamal’s talk that Israel is wrapped up in the Iraq War or that the United States is working such a double standard—supporting Israeli behavior in some ways and condemning the same behavior in other countries in the Arab World. PJK members also said they will call what has up to now been known to them as the “Middle East,” the name Arabs call it: The Arab World.
- 28 pairs of earrings made and ready for their display cards
- 74 ornaments made, 18 packets made to go with
- BIG NOTE repeated from last meeting: We are following up on action items! YAY!
- PJK members are getting to meetings without reminder calls.
- We are all making our products for sale at a good pace.
- Parents are supporting our efforts actively. THANK YOU!

- Bonnie Bernardi for helping us develop the new PJK logo
- Laurine Brown for helping with the logo and also with product packaging ideas
- Fariba Murray for helping with the logo and also with product packaging ideas
- Jan Cox for her coordination of PJK with BNCPJ re Jamal’s talk and for BNCPJ’s providing pizza for Jamal’s talk
- Becca Rossi for her work on the voter stickers
- Silver Leaf 4-H Club for its partnership on the voter stickers
- Delaney and Marley looked at the draft logo from last meeting. They think it’s great! Now to finish it up and get either a stamp or stickers for use in a bunch of ways.
ACTION ITEMS
- Follow up with Bonnie on finishing logo and getting it to print shop
- We touched up ornaments, continued making slip of papter-directions packets for ornaments, and counted and began working on cards for earrings
ACTION ITEMS
- Please note that no one attended last Sunday’s work session at the Ridingers’ home. In future, if you’ve indicated that you will attent a PJK event, please be sure to call your host/sponsor to let him/her know if you need to cancel.
- Please watch for PJK messages requesting help finishing up packaging and getting our products into stores by December. Holiday shopping is already underway!
