਀ഊGary -- Call for Justice 09/24 - 26 in Washington DC organized by uusc.org/stoptorture. Mary mentioned book by Tanner on Truth and Torture. 
਀ഊEvelyn -- Amnesty International events in November, sponsored by Mennonite Church Peace and Justice committee. Focus is the possibility of a Draft and other issues. Gerlof Homan is church contact at homan3@juno.com
